HDSpeed by SteelBytes is a nice little application to measure your HD's speed. That is really all the application does. It won't let you increase the speed of your hard drive or modify anything on it. The application is simply a graphic that shows you the speed of your hard drive. You are shown both the actual and average speeds and the bursts of speeds that you might get.
